My name is Thomas. For over 18 years, tutoring and academic accountability coaching have been my full-time profession. With a background in mechanical engineering, I focus on helping students understand the “why” and the “how,” not just memorize the “what.”

I have designed structured programs and coached 1,100+ students one-on-one online in math, physics, statistics, and standardized test preparation. My primary area of expertise is SAT and ACT preparation, where I build personalized programs to help students develop structure, manage time, and make consistent progress starting at any level. ​​​​​​​​

I organized all 432 official SAT Math questions into structured, progressive worksheets, homework, and timed quizzes. I also added supplemental problems so students see every variation, build pattern recognition, and create their own study guides. With consistent progress tracking, parents can be confident their child will recognize and understand every question type on test day. (ACT Prep is similar, with strong overlap)

Math is often a love–hate relationship. When students don’t truly understand it, they tend to shut it off and stop improving. So how do we move from hesitantly copying notes in hopes of understanding them later to being engaged, confident, and ready to answer questions in class?
